There's this protest I see now and then on this road, where a bunch of Facebook mums and twitter zombies hold up signs saying: "don't vaccinate, the government is controlling us, we are oppressed" etc. One thing they love to talk about is free speech, so let me make something clear to all you retards.

You still have free speech. You can say whatever you want: but you're not free from consequences.

The kinds of people who say crap like: "Oh YoU'rE tAkInG aWaY mY fReE sPeAcH" are the same kinds of people who like to yell racist slurs to people, and get pissed when that person get angry. Ironic, as if you disagree with them on the smallest topic, or try to criticise them, they act like a baby. Guess there's nothing changing hypocrites then.

unrelated: but why is my XP not counting? I've been stuck on level 7 for god knows how long now.

Edit: finally got to level 8 wooo

  1. Whenever I'm scrolling through the M rated art portal to find some horror/gore art, there's a 50/50 chance your going to find the gore, or find some anime girl's asshole. There should be genre filters on the game, movie and art portal, sorta similar to what the audio portal does. So if you want to find a fantasy puzzle game, you can put what type of game you want aswell as what genre it is. Then I won't have to deal with scrolling past titties when trying to find someone getting their eyes ripped out (and yes I know there are tags but some people don't put them on and every now and then the titties appear because they use the tag aswell.)

  1. The time zone doesn't match my time zone and you can't change it

  1. The date is in the American form (eg. 28/05/2022 would be 05/28/2022) and you can't change it

  1. needs more profile colours, or an ability to customise it

Me: Mum, you can't watch the TV

Mum: Why?

Me: Because our TV boxset is Virgin Media, only virgins can watch it

*Mum laughs*

Mum: it's called that because originally it was Virgin Records and Record people (i forgot the term) used to be known for having many...affairs

Me: so does that mean you can't listen to their records aswell?

I'm proud of 13 year old me for making such a mediocre sex joke to my Mum that i still remember it to this day.

There's a 90% success rate you'll get the TV from this, unless your parents are smartasses like mine.

Has any other artist/writer had a problem where they come up with a name for an OC and it turns out it's the name of some actor you've never heard before but is still relevant enough to have their own Wikipedia article?

That's always why I google search me OCs name to see if it's:

  1. A real person
  2. A character off a cartoon
  3. A swear word in another language

Usually nowadays I just take the first name from some random character in a show and combine it with a random object as the last name. I used to just type random gibberish onto my computer until it forms a pronounceable word which is why a lot of my OCs from 1-2 years ago are just random letters merged together. Or just rip it from an old character I don't care about anymore which is why I have about 3 characters named Charlotte.

Although I remember one OC I got the name off some Discord username one of my online friends had, and didn't realise until a couple months later it's a slang word for 'Communist'

I was eating macaroni cheese when I came up with this great idea:

What if there was a version of Scratch for stubborn teenagers like me who don't want to learn Javascript?

I mean think about it: there's already Scratch addons and Turbowarp who give new features like folders, 60fps, customisable stage sizing and exports to HTML/EXE. Put all the great ideas from them and chuck it into a version of Scratch designed for professional game devs and hobbyists. There's already ScratchJR for infant school students, why isn't there a version dedicated to high school students? There's a group of people, including me, who have been practicing the art for years now, I have since I was 7 and now i know all the tips and tricks (mostly) but it can be limiting in points which bugs me (mainly my paranoia for the file size).

This may be too laggy for the website version, but release it as a computer program and it'll probably run well. The kinds of peole who would use this are probably going to export it to .EXE anyway. I feel like this could make people take Scratch more seriously as more than a thing you use in your Y4 computing class, and more like a hardcore programming language for people who just can't grasp text based coding languages.

Imagine in a not to distant future where Scratch could be powerful enough to run 3D games and online games well (I mean you already can but not really) that would be freaking awsome!

In conclusion: can there be a more feature packed and complicated version of Scratch aimed at teenagers who use Scratch as their main programming language please.

The media portrays teens as either musical theatre addicts or drug dealers in alleyways and it annoys me how they weren't honest when I was younger on what I was in for the next 7 years.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Reasons why being a teenager sucks (this list will probably age horribly and I will cringe at this in a couple years time):

  • Suddenly everything is fucked up and your mindset is dirtier than your 2 year old earphones full of earwax.

Especially with the world we live in now with technology at out fingertips, I know way more than I want to and it's all down to "good ol' hormones."

For example: when I first learned how children were made when I was 10 (Mum read me some book which was very "there was a mummy, there was a daddy, they loved each other very much and had a child" I was confused how accidents happened then as apparently "people don't do it for fun that's just weird" according to 10 year old me. Now I know about diseases, sex toys and positions just thanks to random crap on the internet.

  • School is suddenly a grind to do well on tests and exams.

In year 6 (which is age 10-11 if you're unaware about the UK education system) me and my friend were talking about how great high school and year 7 will be (high school is age 11-16) and a year 13 walked by us and said something along the lines of:

"Trust me, high school isn't that great. There's so much homework and pressure. I wish I could go back to year 6."

Me and my friend thought she was exaggerating until we actually got into high school and within the first week we were crushed mentally by late homeworks and expectations. And it only gets worse from there. I'm in my last term of year 9 currently and there's all this pressure about GCSEs (really important exams thingy you take at the end of year 11 but you start preparing in year 10) while also end of year exams are in 3 weeks and everybody is revising like mad, except me because I'm stubborn and don't give 2 shits about my grades.

  • Mental health makes no sense anymore, and people say they care but in reality they don't.

It's impossible to tell now what's normal, what's just a phase, what's because of autism and what's an actual problem. And sure, there's all these assemblies in school but they don't do anything except make me more paranoid; but I'm awkward as fuck and do not have the confidence to ask someone so I'll just assume everyone daydreams chocking someone with a tie to death while recording on my phone, getting a pocket knife and slitting cuts into their arms to collect their blood, yeet out of there and think of an alibi to give the police about making spaghetti in my dinky little flat.

Not to mention people keeps calling me edgy because of my ridiculously long fringe and the gore I draw in my notebook for fun *cough cough, Nico, Charcoal, Egg stop doing that, cough cough.*

  • In this weird crossover where none of the stuff you used to like is interesting anymore and you can't go outside so your just relying on your laptop for entertainment; but your parents still tell you do do something like play sport in the street or read a book, but all the books have been read and you can't go outside far because the neighbourhood is shit and apparently this is just something my parents do and isn't the norm as someone I was talking to mentioned the screen time on their phone and how most of the day they just walk over to their friends house without 2 weeks of planning and socialise all day.

Well that pretty much explains it.

  • This sudden urge that society says you need to express yourself in unique and quirky ways.

I didn't give a crap about clothes until I hit 13 and suddenly I hated everything I used to wear. But that's probably I was jealous that I couldn't look as hot as the drawings of irl me.

  • Everyone expects you to start dating.

Like chill, I'm 14, I'll eventually get a girlfriend. Probably.

  • Your opinion is invalid just because you're young.

"Oh your just naïve, eventually you'll understand that the government is using us like meat puppets, global warming is a hoax, Jesus came from New Jersey and Hispanic people are actually alien spies."

Like for fucks sake, just because your 45 and watch too many conspiracy videos does not make you right, Karen.

  • You have to be hot and sexy and have huge titties with an unnatural sized butt.

Wow way to go with the body shaming. You do relies there's more to life then sex right? Or let me guess, you have the most blandest personality ever and this is what makes you feel better?

  • "You won't be this young forever, make the most of it!"

  • "You're 14 now, you should start thinking about University and your career"

Problems with being the first born child, Mum and Dad expect me to become some multi millionaire straight out of the womb. Apparently they picked my name as it sounds "professional" and because they both really hate hippie names like Rainbow and Cinnamon. I've never heard about Mum and Dad talking about my 2 brothers on career options the same way they did to me at their age; maybe it's because they expect me to become some coding genius because I learned how to use MS Word when I was 4.

  • You can't talk to your parents about anything, or speak to them the same way you speak to your friends, as they'll interrogate you on where you learned all these "adult themes and language" or just something like gender identity because you're awkward as frick.

I guess they still think I'm 11 and that my innocence is still preserved because if I told them I knew what oral sex is they'll forget I'm a teenager with friends and access to the internet 24/7.

  • You become unnecessarily secretive for literally no reason or is that just me?

Maybe it's a good thing my parents don't know I have Newgrounds...

But like they don't know I'm genderfluid, Satanic, secretly buy chocolate every time they ask me to go to the local Tesco (I've been doing it for 4 years now and they still haven't caught onto my chocolate addiction), my favourite games as I'm too awkward to ask them for merch, the list goes on...

  • Becoming nostalgic for literally anything and the obsession with putting dates on everything but again that's probably just me idk what's normal anymore God help me.

That's all I feel about ranting currently.
